About Me

My name is Donna Bond and I am a certified dog behaviourist, an accredited behaviourist with INTODogs, and a certified family dog mediator, also covered with the UK Dog Training and Behaviour Charter.

My approach is centered on the emotional well-being of dogs, through a trauma-informed perspective in all aspects of my work, with holistic and compassionate care, specialising in sensitive, anxious behaviours, rescue and overseas dogs. In addition, I offer personalised life skills training for puppies and adolescent dogs through engaging positive, reward based and thoughtful teaching.

I am dedicated in providing support to both dogs and their caregivers, aiming to strengthen a strong and trusting bond between you both, by understanding and responding to your dog needs in a kind and respectful way. I believe your dog is not just a pet, but a special part of your family that deserves the best care and support.

I hold several puppy and dog training, behaviour and canine psychology qualifications including scent work certification, which offers so many benefits to all breeds of dogs, of all ages. I offer 1-2-1 sessions as well as small group sessions, running these alongside my training and behavioural consultations.

My experience is the pleasure of always having dogs in my life, working and volunteering in animal rescue and sharing my life now with Murphy, a Border Collie who is fun-loving, and a delight to be around. Murphy, along with my previous dogs, have taught me so much, sparking my interest in canine behaviour and psychology.

Canine Bond dog behaviour and training is a blend of experience, knowledge, and a deep love for dogs, committed to ongoing professional development to ensure I maintain my accreditation as a full canine behaviorist with INTODogs, covered by the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter, ensuring I offer the most up to date, advice and support.

I am proud to be a member and professional partner with these organisations as part of my work.
